CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION
Our 14th Annual Spring Conference on Pediatric Emergencies has been designed
to provide physicians, nurse
practitioners, physician assistants and nurses involved in pediatrics
and emergency care practice with current, evidence-based
information on various dilemmas involving pediatric emergency patients.
In addition to the didactic
lectures, which will present
current evidence-based
diagnostic and management information, ample time is
scheduled for participant
feedback and interaction.
Content for this year's conference has been selected using extensive needs assessment data including past participant topic requests,
clinical expert input, and Symposia Medicus' on-line needs assessment survey of healthcare professionals involved in pediatric emergencies.
An outstanding faculty has been selected based on their individual areas of expertise, their ability
to communicate first-hand
knowledge to others, and their commitment to address issues
of current concern to attendees.
Morning sessions and one
afternoon session leave ample time for relaxing, enjoying
continued discussions with
colleagues from the U.S. and abroad and for exploring this beautiful part of Costa Rica.
