CONFERENCE LOCATION

Yosemite National Park contains some of the most spectacular sights in the world. One of the first wilderness parks in the United States, it is best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more. Stand in awe of the massive granite cliffs of Half Dome and El Capitan; or marvel at the stunning Yosemite and Bridal Veil Falls. Refresh body and mind in the tranquil, wildflower meadows, or at the feet of mighty sequoias in breathtaking Mariposa Grove.

The Tenaya Lodge reflects the grandeur of Yosemite with its elegance and old-world charm. Set on 35 acres bordering the Sierra National Forest, the Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is a classic mountain resort surrounded by noble evergreen forest and a rich range of Sierra recreation. For kids, the organized activities of Camp Tenaya will keep them busy and happy. Horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing, and a steam-driven railway are all located nearby, and golf and lake activities are only twenty minutes away.

Tenaya Lodge offers many attractive amenities for your rest and relaxation. Enjoy an invigorating workout in the resort's exercise room or pool; relax body and mind in the state-of-the-art spa; or sooth aching muscles in the indoor pool, whirlpool, or sauna. The lodge also has a restaurant, a deli, bar & grill, and weekly outdoor barbeque cookout, offering a range of dining options. Visit the nearby historic town of Oakhurst for gourmet and family dining options, movie theatre, antique shopping, art galleries, boutiques, book stores, and gift shops. Bass Lake, located in close proximity to the Tenaya Lodge, offers great watersports.

You are sure to enjoy this majestic setting for our 10th Annual Summer Conference on Women's Health.
