CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION

Changes in the health care industry have caused a shift toward patient management decisions that are based on outcomes research. Malpractice liability issues also continue to be at the forefront of obstetric and gynecological practice. Sound clinical practice, linked with an understanding of risk management, is the key to reducing liability and improving patient outcomes. Our 13th Annual Winter Conference on Obstetrics and Gynecology will focus on current clinical practice issues and the implementation of a variety of risk management strategies.

This conference is designed for physicians, nurse providers, and physician assistants who care for the female patient, as well as risk managers. Many lectures will combine the latest information from clinical research with current risk management strategies. This information is vital to your practice as it evolves in the 21st century.

Topics in this year's conference were selected based on past participant conference evaluation requests, clinical expert input, clinical guidelines, literature review, and our online needs assessment surveys of OB/GYN healthcare professionals.

An outstanding faculty was chosen based on their individual areas of expertise and their ability to communicate first hand knowledge in a clear and concise manner.

Morning sessions and one afternoon session leave ample time for exploring St. Kitts and we have also arranged a variety of group tours for your enjoyment. The schedule and tours allow for continued discussion relating to the conference topics and other matters relating to obstetrics and gynecology.

At the conclusion of this conference, you should be able to:

Better diagnose and manage patients with urinary problems
