CONFERENCE
LOCATION Aloha! The beautiful island of Kauai is the location for our
20th Annual Winter Conference on Emergency Medicine. Kauai, known as Hawaii's "Garden Island," offers scenic splendor along its 90 miles of coastline and within its lush interior. Kauai is famous for its breathtaking botanical beauty and spectacular white-sand beaches and the island offers a wealth of diverse ecosystems that
can be explored in either direction to the sunny south and west
shores, or to the lush north shore.
The Kauai Marriott Resort sits on 800 tropical acres and is the only resort on the stunning shores of Kalapaki Beach. Our
conference schedule allows you plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful beach or the resort's swimming pool. The resort also offers a
complete fitness center, spa, and five wonderful restaurants. Children ages 5-12 will enjoy the fun Kalapaki Kids program, which offers a myriad of engaging activities. Adjacent to the resort are tennis courts and two
championship golf
courses, both of which
are accessible by resort shuttle. Various restaurants and two shopping centers are just a short walk away. During conference breaks, you can enjoy a wealth of activities in the area,
such as horseback riding,
surfing (lessons available), beach volleyball, sailing, scuba diving, or
snorkeling, or take a moment to unwind on the tranquil shores of Kalapaki Beach.
