CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION
Extraordinary changes are taking place in American medicine today. Driven by scientific evidence, healthcare professionals are coming to understand that treating the body alone is not enough, and the mind can also play a critical role in the healing process.

Over 45% of Americans today use some form of Integrative Medicine, and the number among women is increasing. Because of this growth, health care professionals need to continue learning current safety, efficacy, and optimal use of these alternatives that their patients are using.

Our 9th Annual Conference on Integrative Medicine in Women's Health is designed to take an in-depth look at a variety of alternative treatment modalities, and provide mainstream medical and nursing professionals with an evidence-based look at some alternative health care practices used by and for the female patient.

Topics in this year's conference have been selected based on past participant conference evaluation requests, clinical expert input, literature review, and our online needs assessment surveys of health care professionals involved in women's health care.

An outstanding faculty has been assembled for this conference. Faculty members are committed to providing participants with current and practical information, which can be immediately applied to the office setting.

This exciting conference will provide you with an opportunity to share current ideas with colleagues from across the country in the stimulating, relaxing, and informal environment of Yosemite, California.

Morning sessions and one afternoon session leave ample time for exploring Yosemite. We have also arranged a variety of group tours that allow for enjoyment of the area as well as continued discussion relating to conference topics.
