CONFERENCE
LOCATION Big Sky is host to a multitude of summer activities: take a scenic gondola-lift ride up Lone Mountain and experience wonderful hiking and mountain biking; enjoy an invigorating horseback ride in the scenic mountains; or take to the rivers for
incredible fly-fishing and whitewater rafting. Big Sky also offers an 18-hole golf course, originally designed by Arnold Palmer, as well as a number of tennis courts, all offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.
The resort's close proximity to majestic Yellowstone National Park (the northwest border of the park is just 18 miles away)
is yet another element of Big Sky's appeal. Plan to spend time in Yellowstone
observing the nation's most impressive geysers and hot springs, including the true to its moniker, "Old Faithful" geyser. Take one of the many offered scenic tours to observe the ever-present wildlife and
learn the history of the country's first established National Park.
Big Sky Resort is a self-contained
village with restaurants, as well as live entertainment and dancing. The resort
also has a giant heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, a full spa, and whirlpools, to help soothe those aching muscles at
the end of a busy day. A full range of shops is available in and around Big Sky Resort offering everything from hiking
supplies to fine art.
You are sure to find these attractions, as well as many other refreshing summer activities, in this spectacular setting for
our 4th Annual Summer Conference
on Emergency Medicine. |
