CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION
This exciting conference is designed to provide physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses and physician assistants with evidenced-base information on current issues in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The goal of this conference is to enhance the knowledge of healthcare providers, thereby improving patient care. In addition to didactic lectures, which will present current diagnostic and management information, ample time has been allotted for participant feedback and interaction.

Topics have been selected based on extensive OB/GYN needs assessment data including past participant survey, clinical expert input, and practice guidelines.

An outstanding faculty has been assembled for this conference. Faculty members have been selected because of their expertise, their ability to communicate first-hand knowledge to others, their commitment to address issues of current concern, and their willingness to interact with participants.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this continuing education activity, participants should be able to...

Discuss the diagnosis and management of a variety of high risk pregnancy issues such as genetic screening, preeclampsia, and intrauterine growth restriction

Explain strategies for management of issues in office gynecology including endometriosis, uterine fibroids, polycystic ovary disease, amenorrhea, vaginitis, sexual dysfunction and menopause

Better assess and interview the victim of sexual assault

ACCREDITATION
This educational activity was planned and produced in accordance with the ACCME and ANCC essentials and standards relating to continuing medical and nursing education.

Symposia Medicus is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Symposia Medicus is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
Physicians
Symposia Medicus designates this educational activity for a maximum of 15.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Application has been made to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) for Cognates, Formal Learning. Determination of credit is pending.

Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses and Physician Assistants
The American College of Nurse Midwives and the American Academy of Physician Assistants accepts Category 1 CME approval from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

The contact hours awarded for the completion of this educational activity are 15.5

Provider is also approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider # CEP2335, for 18.6 contact hours.

Pharmacology Credit for Prescriptive Authority
A maximum of 3.5 hours in pharmacology credit for prescriptive authority may be earned by attending this educational conference. Sessions awarding pharmacology credit for prescriptive authority are denoted with an Rx.

Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Certificates of completion/credit will be given to participants at the conclusion of the conference.

CRUISE RATES, DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS
All cruise rates quoted are per person, based on double occupancy, and do not include conference tuition, cruise fees of $219 per person, government taxes and fees of $109.15 per person (subject to change), airfare, gratuities, ground transportation to/from the cruise ship, or optional Royal Caribbean CruiseCare® Vacation Protection Plan fees. All fares are per person in U.S. dollars.

A deposit of $300 per person (including 3rd and 4th passengers in cabin if applicable), is due to Symposia Medicus at the time of booking. Final payments are due to Symposia Medicus no later than Friday, May 23, 2008. Payments not received by the due date are subject to cabin cancellation with no refunds.

Royal Caribbean will provide travel documents to Symposia Medicus approximately two weeks prior to sailing. Travel documents are issued only after final payment has been received. Symposia Medicus will forward your travel documents to you after we have received and reviewed them for accuracy.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN CRUISE FARES
The price of your cruise includes ship accommodations, around the clock dining options, most beverages, nightly entertainment and most onboard ship activities. Your fare does not include air transportation, transfers, gratuities, items of a personal nature such as shore excursions, telephone calls, laundry and dry cleaning, medical, barber and beauty shop services, alcoholic & certain other beverages, and meals at ship specialty restaurants.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Per Royal Caribbean's policy, a full refund (except amounts paid for CruiseCareš Protection) will be made for written cancellations received by Symposia Medicus no later than June 3, 2008. Passengers who cancel after this date, for any reason, are subject to the following per person cancellation fees.

Up to June 3 - Full Refund
June 4-July 9 - $250 per person
July 10-July 31 - 50% of cruise fees paid per person
August 1 - No Refund

Name changes require the prior approval of Royal Caribbean International and are subject to additional fees. Cruise tickets are non-transferable. Name changes and departure date changes are considered reservation cancellations and may be subject to cancellation fees.

CRUISECARE® CANCELLATION/ INTERRUPTION PLAN
With the CruiseCare® Cancellation Penalty Waiver, Royal Caribbean International will waive the nonrefundable cancellation provision of your cruise ticket contract and pay you the value of the unused portion of your prepaid cruise. In addition, should you or your traveling companions need to cancel, you may be eligible for cruise credits up to 75% of the nonrefundable, prepaid cruise cost. Please note: Prices are subject to change and restrictions may apply. Below is a chart showing cost per person for CruiseCare® Insurance.

PASSPORT INFORMATION
Passports are REQUIRED. If you do not have a passport, please allow yourself a minimum of 3 months to receive it after you complete the application as passport issuance agencies are backlogged due to changes in passport laws. Your passport cannot expire within 6 months of the voyage termination date.

It is the sole responsibility of the guest to identify all travel, inoculation and health requirements, and to obtain and have available when necessary the appropriate valid travel documents. Guests who do not possess the proper documentation may be prevented from boarding their flight or ship, disembarking or entering a country, and may be subject to fines. No refunds will be given to guests who fail to bring proper documentation. When you purchase Air Arrangements through Royal Caribbean, you can expect the following: Round-trip air transportation to and from the port of embarkation and debarkation; Airport Greeting: You will be met by a Royal Caribbean representative at either the baggage claim area, or outside of customs for international flights, and escorted to your ground transportation vehicle; and Ground transportation from your arrival airport to the pier and from the pier to your departure airport.

Generally, air transportation will be arranged for same-day departure. However, guests may be required to travel on red-eye flights or arrive up to two days before sailing. Guests may be required to make connections with different airlines. Your flight may require you to make connections and/or stops en route to your final destination. Connections may be on different airlines. Royal Caribbean reserves the right to select the carrier, flights, routes, and layover city (if any). Typically, your flights will be assigned by Royal Caribbean 60 days prior to the date of your departing flight.

Royal Caribbean International's Custom Air Department can handle special requests like extended stays and upgrades. For custom air requests fulfilled and accepted, there will be a $50 per person nonrefundable service charge and additional airfare costs may be applied. Any changes to a Custom Air request may be subject to additional fees.

You may also reserve and ticket your own air directly through the airlines or your travel agent. However, if you make your own air arrangements, you must allow a minimum of three hours at the beginning and end of your cruise to allow for transfers, customs clearance, and airport security checks.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
If you choose to make your own air arrangements, you may buy a ticket to board a Royal Caribbean bus to and from the ship for the days of embarkation/debarkation only. Purchases must be made a minimum of two weeks prior to sailing and flight information must be provided in order to confirm your transfers. You will be sent additional information and an enrollment form for transfers upon receipt of your registration.

DINING ABOARD SHIP
When you make your cruise reservations, you need to request either the 6:30pm or 8:30pm dinner seating. Your seating time will be noted on your cruise ticket. If preferred dining is not available, you can be waitlisted for your preferred time. Please inform us of other passengers you would like to sit with at dinner. On your cruise, you can expect two formal nights, and one smart casual night. All other nights are casual. Complimentary room service is also available 24 hours a day.

GRATUITIES ABOARD SHIP
Cabin gratuities of $68.25 per person and Suite gratuities of $84.00 must be pre-paid and will be included in your final balance. This covers your stateroom attendant, head waiter, dining room waiter, and assistant waiters. An additional 15% gratuity will be added to your bar bills or wine checks on board.

ADVENTURE YOUTH PROGRAM & BABYSITTING
Royal Caribbean's complimentary, fully supervised Youth Program serves five age groups with activities designed accordingly. For children at least one year of age, individual babysitting in your stateroom is available for a cash fee.
